Ugly Betty makes a beautiful return

Actress America Ferrera has revealed both her 'Ugly' and beautiful side
ahead of the series return of her hit show.
The 23-year-old has posed for new Ugly Betty promotional shots, and while
her popular character still sports the same lack of fashion sense, bushy
eyebrows and braces, it's clear that the actress has emerged as real life
glamour.
Ferrera, who showed off her trimmed down frame in a figure hugging black
dress, is embracing her meteoric rise to fame.

She told Glamour magazine: "I feel like the stars have aligned in my
favour maybe I was good in a past life!"
But it wasn't always that way. Growing up, Ferrera says: "I'd look in the
mirror and weep, thinking I was too fat.
I never saw a Latina woman with an average body on TV.
I wanted to be one of Charlie's Angels but I couldn't fit into size-zero
leather trousers."
