World in my eyes: Beijing opera, ThangKas, tiger and Provencal sunlight

Jia De Cultural diffusion organization and Beijing Han Li gallery
co-hosted an art exhibition yesterday (Sep.8) named 鈥淲orld in my eyes:
Beijing opera, ThangKas (scroll painting), tiger and Provencal
sunlight.鈥� It featured oil paintings and ThangKas, an expression of
ReGong art.



Painters participating in the exhibition came from various countries and
regions. Painter Xiaodi Liu draws Beijing opera characters and paints
other figure; Mingzhe Hong, having lived in virgin forest areas,
portraits tigers and natural scenery mainly; French painter Mary draws on
life experiences by traveling to north Africa periodically for artistic
creation; monk-painter Geng Deng Ba Ji, a pious Buddhist, from
Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has created various ThangKas over the course of
many years.

The event was widely received, as many officials and entrepreneurs
attended the exhibition and offered full support, according to the
company's president Liu Lei.
